Psychoneuroimmunology Expert
Fagundes holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Davis and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Utah. Fagundes is an American Cancer Society Postdoctoral Fellow. Working in the areas of autonomic psychophysiology & psychoneuroimmunology, he investigates how the mind and body interact to affect those facing difficult life events--primarily cancer. He is particularly interested in how past and current relationships contribute to these processes. The goal of this work is to improve the physical and mental health of those affected by these experiences.
